Did anyone else watching the game see the major commercial oregon put out for dixon to win heisman. Now, by no means am i happy to see him injured, I just thought it was funny and ironic Geaux Tigers  :milesmic:lefire:
Remember that billboard Oregon athletics put in Times Square, New York for Harrington? Another quarterback that has panned out quite well...
furthermore, they were interviewing him, and the one oregon fan saying they are number one...as they are losing.....oh fans, they make me smile!
Good call. It was Harrington and Orygone was trying to influence the vote on the Heisman. I hate Oregon. I have spent a lot of time on business up there. Those people are really different up there. Not all of them, just a good 65% of them or so. That said, I feel bad for Dixon, but I am glad they are out of it. They would have talked so much personal trash on us had they met us come bowl time it wouldn't have been funny. I also like Joey Harrington. Good guy. Has some football smarts, but has never had the line to be a good QB, and doesn't have enough talent, probably, for the NFL. He's a scrub. Too bad. :geaux:
very true. the bad news is he limped to the lockerroom (but under his own power though) the good news is he wasnt on crutches when he returned to the sidelines on crutchs.
Second that! When this guy takes the snap, does the two hop and then plants his feet in the pocket like he is waiting for his burger order makes him a true ice cold freak. Scary! Sad that he was cutting back in for the plant and tweaked his knee, MY knee hurt the rest of the night seeing that. Hope he gets back up for O state because this guy is a thrill a second to watch.
I watched the interview of him at the end of the game, and he seems like a class act. He would've been a good Heisman winner, but it looks like his chances are slim. Without him, they are not very good...but with him...I bet they could destroy one of the top two teams in the Big 10.:hihi:
No. In fact I was too busy flipping off the one they put up on the side of a building about 1/2 a mile from USC's campus. Seems to be a popular idea.
