Distraction for Peyton Manning?

    Couldn't believe my ears this morning when 2 local sports reporters(Jacksonville, FL) were reporting on their radio shows that they had inside information that the National Enquirer was running a story next week about Peyton Manning's infidelity. I did a search and it is being discuused on the Gator forum here:

    Anybody heard anything about this?
    If this happens comment on how this will impact his game.

    I have heard this. Apparently he slept with some chick from my hometown at Eli's bachelor party a year or two ago. Apparently the bachelor party was in Gulf Shores or somewhere like that and they were at the Beau Rivage when the dirty deed went down.

    Poor girl. She shows up to a bar where I live and everyone knows her as "the girl that slept with Peyton Manning".

    The impression I got from the reporters this was this did not involve one girl, but multiple girls. A Tiger Woods type story.

    Oh yeah, I know....I wasn't trying to imply that this story would be about this girl in particular.....just that I've heard in my own hometown of this type of thing going on with Peyton.

    If it's true then I'm guessing that would definitely be a distraction. Especially if his wife has access to golf clubs.:)
