I don't think that's possible at this point. Congress already approved the money almost 2 years ago but it got held up by a couple Republicans who had concerns over the PLO trying to join international organizations. Once Obama released the funds, they gone.
Dude, I'm sorry you think this is going to work. It's not. You would rather waste billions of dollars, as the people who have bitched and moaned about spending for the last 8 years, (but not the previous 8 coincidentally) on a stupid ass wall that will do absolutely nothing. I have a wall in my back yard and my fucking dog still finds a way through it. This wall will do nothing but add more debt and just make morons feel a little better.
Two points, we already lose billions to Mexico because of money going back. It pays for itself. Stop using the medias talking points. Second, and most importantly, if you think it does nothing, when its built - go try and hope over it.
Will some get in anyway? Absolutely. Let's take a look at a comparative situation. Schools and shooters. There have been too many but with Sandy Hook, everyone began to take a look at how to make schools safer. Experts agree that perimeter security is a must and the 5 D's are the key....Deter, Detect, Deny, Delay, Defund. So while a wall won't keep everyone out, it will keep out a lot and it's not just workers and nice family types. We have a serious problem with a border than can't keep radical islamists out either and based on the Puerto Rican American who just shot up the Ft Lauderdale airport, we can't tell the difference.
I don't have a reason to get over it. Or under it, but if I wanted to, if I really wanted to, if you really wanted to, or anyone really wanted I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. It's a waste of money. It doesn't pay for itself. It's a stupid idea. But hey, if it makes you sleep better at night knowing those scary Mexicans have to dig a tunnel or climb it, then sleep well, because one way are another they will get past a stupid border wall.
