Greg Monroe isn't the first Parade All-American out of Louisiana that went to Georgetown (Jesuit school in D.C.)... Peter Michell, Jonathan Edwards, Dwayne Bryant, and Duane Spencer were all Parade All-Americans from Louisiana that went to Georgetown (Spencer transferred back to LSU).

Rivals 5-star Greg Monroe was a two-time Parade All-American (2008 1st team, 2007 3rd team).

Rivals 5-star Tas Mitchell (LSU's best player this year) was also a two-time Parade All-American (2005 1st team, 2004 4th team).
