Its ok... next year he will be playing in the NBA... I hate this stupid one year rule. Why not do like Baseball? Can be drafted out of high school but if you go to college you there for 3 years (I think)...
thats exploitation. they should be able to go get a job whenever they want. if ncaa wanted to pay them then they could make them stay a minimum amount of time like some jobs do.
Really... when is it free for someone to go to college. If they CHOOSE to go to college then it should be an agreement that we will pay for your tuition, books, rooms, etc. if you stay for 3 years. Everything that other students have to PAY for when the go to school. Everyone wants to dismiss the free ride they receive for their ability to play a sport. As it sits now it is exploitation of the student and the school. The NBA making the player play one year of college is ridiculous. If he is good enough to go to the NBA right our of high school then why not let him go.
Since 2002, Brady got commitments from Rivals 5-stars in Brandon Bass of Baton Rouge (2003), Regis Koundjia of Africa (2003), Glen Davis of Baton Rouge (2004), Tas Mitchell of Denham Springs (2005), Magnum Rolle out of the Bahamas (2005), Anthony Randolph of Dallas (2007)...
Those two very good guards doing great for 16-4 Baylor (who just upset the #6 Tejas Longhorns) are also both out of Louisiana... Demond 'Tweety' Carter (Rivals 4-star for the 2006 class out of Reserve, LA) and LaceDarius Dunn (Rivals 4-star for the 2007 class out of Monroe, LA).
