JJ would be the starter if not for the bar fight. who knows what miles thinks. the passing game of JL regressed JJ's first game back. Against a crappy UK team. coincidence? I dont know.

the other worry is we have JJ running the offense that looks like it has for the last 3 years. one of the very worst in the country with no deep threat.

But, the Cotton Bowl version of JJ was pretty damned good. Maybe he has developed as much as JL under Krags since then.

I will be very comfortable with JJ if and only if he can perform at or above the level of his play in the Cotton Bowl. I am eager to see how his passing game has progressed under coach K. Supposedly he was turning heads at the Manning camp this summer; but the key question is: does it translate into the real game situations.

I am fine with Lee, neither QB is an NFL prospect, Heisman candidate, I am fine with that.

My one and only point, before I ever say we were "better" with Lee in "this particular system" I would have to see JJ first.

Again, may never happen and I am fine with that.

Lee is our starter, this is his team and only LEE can change that.

As I said before, Lee has been given an AMAZING opportunity, and that is all he can ask for. Very unfortunate situation for Jefferson, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Here is a thought, when Lee was #2, wasnt he ALWAYS standing right next to CLM with head gear on?

But every time they showed JJ on saturday he was by himself on the bench.

Miles comments today were along the lines that JJ has been out for quite a while and has catching up to do. I still believe at some point he'll be the starter again before the season is up.

But how can Miles justify pulling Lee out IF Lee continues to lead the team well and continues winning? ......unless JJ outperforms Lee on the field.

Tiger nation will have a riot otherwise! (Me included)

Anyone's passing game would regress with seven drops by their receivers.

Miles doesn't need to justify anything, at this point I'd think more people would get that.. I highly doubt there will be any riots with LSU still winning.. Whiners are gonna cry regardless if it's one play, one series or being the starter.. He's been back on the team less than a week and it's pretty pathetic the cry baby crap that's been going on..

Fair enough. I agree with that!

And I do agree, it was a very very unfortunate situation for JJ. Just from a "human" perspective, I'd trade Lee as the starter to rewind and spare JJ from the injustice that was done to him by the courts and this Lowery character.
