OK so My wife, 2 boys and I are LSU Diehards living in Utah transplants from Baton Rouge. I want to see as many games as possible this year, and am considering getting the ESPN GamePlan package. I am fine with the cost actually its a small price to pay ($120.00) for time spent with my boys and watching the Tigers. Here is my concern though....

    1) Do I want to buy this if LSU is the only team I want to watch?

    2) How many LSU Games will be aired nationally (ESPN & CBS)?

I know I am going to need to TeVO a few games due to Elk, Deer & Waterfowl season. So if I miss one or two games I won't mind but I want to see the majority if not all of the season. So here is my long winded question:

Where can I find a schedule for this years games that will be shown nationally not just at home in Baton Rouge?

Has any of you had the package in the past, if so did you like it and do they black out any games?

    Thank you for your replies

I never did get the season package. For about 20 or a little more you can buy an individual Saturday with Direct tv. Wait and see which games will be telecast in your area, and then purchase the weekends that LSU is not telecast. Better yet if you have fast DSL and are able to connect your computer to your tv. Check see if you are able to get espn360.com They air all the gamplan games for free. The only draw back with espn360 is they are a few minutes behind real time.

I live in Michigan and have, for the past two seasons, bought through
the "gameplan"- individual LSU games. At an avg. of 3-4 games a year,
It comes out roughly the same. 25$ or 30$ a game...your call.
You might save a buck this yr- USL, Tulane, and La Tech..will have to
be ordered (more than Likely). Everything else should get coverage

Looks like my cable system will have games through ESPNU-
which I WILL have to get soon $$$-

Always keep your displaced' Tigah brethen in your prayers- Local ones!Saintslogo

How the hell do you buy the individual games? That is a hell of a idea and I would do that in a minute! I looked around D-TV's website and just played with my dish/ reciever and could not find a word mentioned on single game purchases. That is exactly what I would go with.

Guess I will call D-TV and see if they offer it.

ESPN 360 is great too.... I watched the entire College world series that way at work out patrolling the streets at 0300 in the morning:yelwink2:

We live in NW Ohio & ordered GamePlan last year. We did watch at least 1 game each weekend...not just for LSU. We also watched the Sat morning SEC matchups that were broadcasted by Lincoln Financial (old JP). So, it was worth it to us.

Wait until the week before the game and it will be announced on both their website and your menu screen.

You can order it then. :geauxtige
