RachelLSU - I agree with everything you said, real simple we f*cked up on Jan 9th, all the coaches and players have to take responsibility for it and most of all our Head Coach. Does that mean he is not a good head coach, Not at all. Does that mean we should look for someone else, not at all. All we can hope for is that he learns from his mistakes and we don't make the same ones going forward. All we can do with the recruiting this year "since it is now in the past" is figure out what we did not do well and do a better job of it next year and what we did well and repeat that next year. All you can do is use your history to improve on your future performance. I think Miles is the right guy for the job and his record proves that, but I want to see him correct his mistakes which over the past 30 days he has made a few.
Well thats good because I really do not care what he gives a damn about. Lame, that you think you can speak for him.
Many of the people who post obviously weren't sitting in the stands for the Hallman then Dinardo/Tepper days. Those days make you appreciate what we have now. They certainly make you appreciate great defense. Back then we couldn't stop a soccer mom pushing a baby stroller.
that is true, but it is what it is and everyone has there opinions and are entitled to them, but i was sitting in those stands during those years and to this day and everyday i will always love my tigers
Wow sdmlsu you sure are making a lot of assumptions - I graduated in 83 what do you think? I have been through the rough times and appreciate these times everyday. But that certainly does not mean we should not question our coaches when they make mistakes, no one is above reproach. Remember as great a job as Les Miles has done for LSU, he works for us not the other way around. :LSU231::LSU231::LSU231:
I just think people get to caught up in class rankings. There is a big difference in the ability to recruit/get production from recruits and star/class rankings. Texas is a prime example. Look at their history when it comes to class rank and national titles or even conference titles. IMO the program is rock solid. Its hard to expect more than a program that's in contention every year. Jmho
Yep Texas seems to be the poster child for that argument as far as class rankings and performance but the other side of that argument would be Bama their class rankings and performance are right in line, so that leads me to believe it has nothing to do with class rankings and everything to do with coaching, obviously Bama's coaching is far more superior than UT's. I can't disagree our program is solid and being in contention each year is all we can expect. That being said we can improve.
This is simply disingenuous. You have never respected Miles. In fact, you seem to only post when something negative has happened. You weren't around much during the 13-0.
