This may have been mentioned but I haven't seen it. Who else has noticed that, since the Oregon game, Les has been pounding the " Our established identity as a tested road team angle". Every press conference he's had after a road game has had the mention, in some form, of the team having been tested and tried on the road. I'm sure he's been pumping the same theme in the locker room. Convincing them that they are in fact a GREAT road team. That man has been pointing this team like a cruise missile at November 5th since fall practice has started. Conversely every presser I've seen of Nick, over the last couple of weeks, shows the man wound up like a cheap watch. I also believe that this has been due to November 5th. My point, I guess, is that I think our coach and staff are operating on a different level. Nick is one of the best checker players of all time. This year... I don't think we're playing that.
Yep .. CLM > CNS BTW .. welcome to the board .. but I guess I should wait for the old timers to tell you that.
Good post for 1st up. I like the checkers line. I agree that the staff has been using the one game at a time line on the players but making moves for weeks to set the team up for this game. I don't think you can overstate the job CLM and staff have done this year.
Great post. CLM is pumping these guys up as road warriors who can handle whatever is thrown at them. These Tigers are well-prepared to take on Bama on the road. I agree that CLM and staff are on a different level, and loose, which is the way to be heading into a game of this magnitude. :geauxtige
Welcome JTiger, great first post. I dont know about anyone else, but I thought today would never end. It's gonna be a long couple of weeks.
