I think that was the most unsportsmanlike thing i have ever seen. Then to almost go at a couple of fans. Grow up kid, take the loss like a man
No Doubt it was the wrong way to handle things. But 94 is wrong too. You know as far as the punshment goes, I think we need to understand at some point that we havfe all done dumb things. It just so happen that his dumb thing was on a national stage. Just a kid. Wish him the best in getting things figured out.
I don't think that was just a dumb thing. That was assualt/battery because the kid is a poor sport. You just dont see somebody punch another guy out because he can't handle eating his own crow after talking shyt all year long. I honestly hope he's suspended for a good long time.
THat guy has been a head case for awhile and they were talking about how much he has matured and then 10 minutes later he is acting like a baby. Right in front of Boise's HC too and this is all after he punched his own teammate which is not shown in this video.
i fell asleep in the 3rd quarter on the couch and when i woke up blount was being restrained going into the tunnel, i was like whoa, so watched the replay, lots of talk on sports talk radio shows about that today. What do you think the punishment should be. I say 2 game suspension. He apologized, he shouldn't have done it, it shows poor judgement, but it also shows that the guy is a sore loser, who probably got pissed when the guy he punched called him out on his "ass whoopin" statement.
Not sure how long he will get suspended but I am sure I will be disappointed by the verdict. However, it did not start with the Boise St. player tapping him on the shoulder, it started when he took a swing at his own teammate.
Blount apologizes today. Yeah, no kidding. I'll bet the UO had someone writing up his apology for him before he even got off the field.
