Technically, he is right. Only his constituents have the legal right to toss him from office. And they have done so with many politicians who have been recalled or simple voted out in the next election. Others have been re-eleted by their constituents, suggesting that they think the politician is doing more good than harm. A politician works for his constituents. But . . . a politician must work with other politicians,too. And when enough of them indicate that they are not going to do business with him anymore, then he should resign because he's not going to be able to get the work done for his constituents. Contriteness doesn't mean anything. Scandals of a certain size and smell should cause the resignation of the involved scumbag politicians, Weiner and Vitter included.
Vitter played his situation perfectly. First he took full blame with no but ifs about it second he said he was sorry while taking full blame third he showed humility in doing so. No trying to save face fourth he went on the attack! He made damn sure his face was on tv and in the papers every week fighting aginst the liberal majority. He was a massive pain in the asz of Harry Reid. He was showing that he was a renewed man on a mission to make things right. I'm sure this was a planned political theatrics to take peoples minds off him being a cheating pos. It worked. We knew he was a douchbag but he was a conservative douchbag doing battle with the lord of darkness and his liberal minions in the house and senate. He was fighting the good fight so all was forgiven.
again, you might as well justify your positions with a meaningly vague ter like "good". " like: "i like big government because it is good and good things are good. you dont like good?"

Here is the pbp: hot dog took a few pics of his "weiner" and sent them to some chic in vegas then he figured out he dorked it all up and everone could see it then he lied and said "my account got hacked" but then logged into the same hacked account 2 minutes later then he still tried to deny it and say it wasn't his "weiner" then he called in the calvary; aka red and lasalle they couldn't muster up much of defense for hot dog so he quit. That about sums it up.
