ummmm has anyone considered that perhaps she was PAID to write this story?? I mean it was floating around in the NCAA Violations thread that perhaps some big money in TAF were the ones pulling the strings....has this thought crossed anyone's mind??? I dont even know what happened...guess thats what I get for spending the day getting things ready to decorate the christmas tree tomorrow!
I'm definitely picking up a copy of the print Reveille before I leave school today. I have a feeling it might be a collector's item. That is, if the AD or Reveille didn't send someone to confiscate all the copies.
i asked a few days ago if anyone thought this was someone in TAF digging and trying to find something to void Miles' contract and never got a response.
if anyone would stoop that low, they are not a true supporter of the program. that said, i think it was a rogue "reporter" trying to make a name for herself.
That entire paper is run by idiots. I'm convinced the "editors" don't actually read anything before printing it. They even had the score of a game wrong on the front page, I think it was LSU v Arizona 07, but it has the wrong score in the headline. One of my favorite things to do was stand right outside the Reveille office and read aloud any and all grammatical errors. So many to choose from each day. Anyway, what did this article say?
Amazing that it would get printed. I was at school all day and read the paper. It was at the top of the front page.
I had this conversation with someone yesterday. Not likely, but its not out of the realm of possibility. I just hope they have a good backup plan if so.
As pissed as some might be, I don't really think that any of the major boosters would go to this extreme, just yet. They may want changes, but I don't think that the majority of the big boosters want Miles gone.
still no comment by the Reveille on their site. One would think they would put up an explanation on their site.
