I asked that question on the tigers den - thats the most I have ever heard of in the modern era.. I remember before restrictions Pittsburgh signed a unbelieveable number(around 100) when J Majors was coach.

This is what an Ole Miss fan had to say about it:

We can only take 25. This is my best guess:

    In
    1 - Logan Clair
    2 - AJ Hawkins
    3 - Craig Drummond
    4 - Jamar Hornsby
    5 - Pat Patterson
    6 - Bob Massie
    7 - Raymond Cotton
    8 - Rodney Scott
    9 - Korvic Neat
    10 - DT Shackelford
    11 - Corey Gaines
    12 - Tyler Campbell
    13 - Emmanuel McCray
    14 - Artice Kellam
    15 - Frank Crawford
    16 - JaMes Logan
    17 - Joel Kight
    18 - Tim Simon
    19 - Z Mason
    20 - Alex Williams
    21 - Tig Barksdale
    22 - Dele Junaid
    23 - Charles Sawyer

    Greyshirt
    1 - Andrew Ritter
    2 - Montez Phillips
    3 - Gabriel Hunter
    4 - Mike Thomas

    Sign-and-place
    1 - Eric Smiley
    2 - Stephen Houston
    3 - Willie Ferrell

    Academic?
    1 - Mike Marry

    Hargrave?

    1 - Jesse Grandy
    2 - DeMarcus Knight
    3 - Terrell Grant
    4 - Ryan Campbell
    5 - Evan Swindall
    6 - Cameron Whigham
    7 - Michael Brown

The Hargrave lump is a little nebulous. Obviously we've got 2 more slots for schollies this year then what I've listed. I have no idea who will get those. And some of the "Hargrave" group will outright not qualify and go JUCO.

Not all, not even most, of those who go the prep school route will get scholarships next year. One or two might, depending on how they develop physically/skill-wise, some will be encouraged to get schollies elsewhere, and some will end up walking on next year (as we had one, Andre Sterling, do this year).

Nutt is really going to abuse the prep school system. It's a way of redshirting marginal players without really having to committ to them because you can turn them loose. Sometimes you even still get them back as walk-ons despite that.
