Let me get this straight. Notre Dame will have a 10 win season, Kansas and Oklahoma should be ranked ahead of us, and LSU can't tackle. :insane:

He is right about LSU. Tiger D does not tackle well. They try to clothes line instead of using good form, thus all the facemask penalties this year. On the bama punt return our guys were standing straight up and reaching high with their arms.

Lou Holthssss says 5 teams should be ahead of LSU. if ESPN picks up his contract next year, I'll be shocked. He's completely lost it and has zero objectivity. They can do lots better.

Sort of have to agree with this. When you go back and look at the tape, you'll see Chevis gambling and not wrapping up. You see McCray getting burned. The defense is definitely showing vulnerabilities, although today the defensive four up front played a whale of a game. Now, I don't necessarily think that our defense is a liability by any means, especially when you compare it to Oregon's, Kansas' or Oklahoma's.

Cause you know -- they tripped ALL 33 times.

We trumped bama in the stats -- the only team that beats LSU so far is LSU.

We tried to give it away there for a bit.

Holtz also strangely quoted President Clinton as saying, "It is what it is."

I believe he meant "It depends on what the meaning of the word is is."

Which would have made no sense in the context of Holtz's football commentary, for which he unbelievably gets paid. :nope:

The computers will still love the Tigers, but I think LSU will stay at number 3 in the people polls. The Ducks were impressive in back-to-back weeks vs. USC and undefeated Arizona State. And they have a Heisman candidate. They also have a bye week and 3 mediocre teams left on their schedule: @Arizona, @UCLA, at home to Oregon State.

Tigers must completely dominate LaTech, OleMiss, Arkansas, and probably Georgia if they want to get to New Orleans. :tigereye:

Our mistakes are not helping our cause and media will make a case at any cost for a Pac10 or Big 12 one loss team over us.It is time for style points. We need to make a statment in our remaing 4 games to make our case for :crystal:

so i just caught this on ESPN.

When LSU only wins by a few points, we are getting lucky and arent really that good.

on the other hand, UVA won their last 5 games by 4 points or less, and are awsome. They never give up and they are an excellent coached team?
