I missed it, but heard it was pretty good. Looking for when it will be rebroadcast.

NBAtv has many more showings. Best part was when Hurly was convinced they just beat the Dream Team straight up and then they cut to Coach K and he was saying people also believe in the Easter bunny, etc...

I just figured out that I don't have NBAtv, so I can't watch it anyway. Sucks!

It's still a travesty that Laettner was picked before Shaq.

I've still got a red ass about that.

I was surprised Isaiah Thomas and Hakeen Olajuwan didn't get on there either. Chris Mullin? Really? No Dominique Wilkins either?

It was really good. Hakeem wasn't a US citizen at the time but become one later. Jordan and others kept Isaiah off the team, as they detailed how Isaiah walked off the court without shaking hands with the Bulls (after getting ousted) around the time they were putting the team together.

I liked the Angolan guy's interview regarding the elbow Barkley gave him.

Jordan playing golf with Chuck Daly every day and the relationship they built was interesting also (given the feelings Jordan had towards some of the Pistons players).

It truly was a magical team with Magic and Bird playing together after so many battles, Jordan at his peak, and all of the other legends. Tony Parker, Ginobli, and Dirk have said it was the Dream Team that really got them into basketball.

Also, John Stockton walking around in the streets without anyone reconizing him. Chris Mullin was pretty good and I think in the NBA Hall of Fame (heard everyone except Laettner eventually got in the Hall of Fame). With Bird's bad back, it was probably a good idea to get another zone buster on the team.

Any of the other top 10 picks from that year's draft would've been better than Christian Laettner.

Didn't he get ncaa player of the year honors that year?

Coach K was an assistant coach on the Dream Team, very involved in USA basketball, and instrumental in the Laettner selection.
