I thought it was pretty entertaining, but am not sure why they gave Harvey Updyke (Toomer tree poisoner) so much air time. Of course, he admitted calling Finebaum's show saying he poisoned the trees, but denied actually doing it. But, he never explained how he knew they'd been poisoned. With the exact herbicide that was actually used.
While it wasn't explained in the ESPN show, Harvey's (very shaky) claim is that a guy in the seat next to him at the Iron Bowl detailed what he planned to do to those trees. Harvey then called the Finebaum show and took credit. He has conveniently been unable to identify the man who sat next to him at that game.
I wonder if they're going to ask the jury at his trial if they are AU or Bama fans. Think that might have a little to do with whether he's found guilty or not?
According to the show, most experts expect them to die, although they're doing everything they can to save them.
I watched about ten minutes until holtz started saying saban was the best coach in America. That's when I said to myself " I hate a bunch of war eagle gump mudderphuckers and I'm not watching this stupid chit"! I floppin hate Alabama. Both bama and auburn. I hope they kill each other in the ironbowl.
I did not think terribly highly of the show. I thought that it focused too much on the last 10 years. I'm quite old, so, 10 years ago is not so long ago to me.
