Thanks to those who showed up for a "breakfast" watching party...even G-LSU, who showed up 10 minutes after everyone else left. (That's okay, because his wife and I proceeded to get drunk together, since it was afternoon by then.)
 Thanks again for the hospitality.:thumb: Enjoyed meeting you and the fam, and well as Tigermark and his fam.
Thanks for a good time StaceyO!!! Boy, the food was impressive. She was ready for quite a party! But I think Gustav sort of changed the party to be more of a low key game watching party instead of a rip roaring par-tay. Hard to get crazy at 10AM with a cupcake game. I did slip in one drink after half time... I had a great time and enjoyed watching the game with real fans. It was good meeting Fishhead (though you could see the pain that wracked his body as he explained that he had not been fishing in weeks) and your great family. Got to talk to G-LSU briefly as we were leaving seems like a great guy. I sure wish that storm would not have pushed the party up so early. Guess I'll grab a few drinks and watch Bummer get whooped. We all agreed that we like to cheer for the SEC, but can't quite cheer for the heffalumps (or heffa-gumps which might be more accurate). Hope my wild kids didn't drive y'all too crazy.
Guess who went fishing after the game, Mark.:hihi: Went back to the camper, did laundry, watched a little football, then the cloud cover hit, and the wind died. Daddy had to do what daddy had to do. Drove around until we found a place to access the Lake Lewisville shoreline. Some canes sticking outta the wadda just off the shore...Fishy throws a little spinnerbait between the canes, and BAM! (little tiny bass...but a fish nonetheless!) Just enough to fuel the fire. I love it when my hands stink like fishies!!
Ok, i just found this forum and posted a ? on another thread, when i went back to read it i realized it was 5 years old.....ha! challenged, yes? anyhoo, like many of you i was wondering where you all go to watch the games. my name is wendy, graduated a LONG time ago and it just keeps getting longer we are in flower mound.....looks like from what i saw it is either fox an the hound or sherlocks....is that the case for each game? thanks a ton for your advice wendy
Hey Wendy, I am in Wichita Falls. However, the info from the other post is accurate. If you notice, it was resurrected last week. The info I posted was from the DFW alumni chapter. If you need to know how to get in touch w/ them, let me know. Welcome to the forum and don't be a stranger. I don't post a lot here but have been reading it daily for quite a long time. They are a great bunch of folks here who are quite knowledgeable about LSU sports, football in particular. re
