If I thought I was stagnant in my position @ LSU & could advance by leaving, then yes, I would leave.
Corey is looking to get paid by all accounts. He's making 400k or so, but this will be his last year of the deal. He's the highest DB coach in the country of a coach with a single title.. meaning no passing game coordinator, recruiting coordinator, defensive coordinator, etc.. I suspect 600k would keep him. Corey is LSU through and through and has been our best coach AND recruiter from a positional perspective. Lots of people think he and Busch didn't get along, but everyone in the know says they felt otherwise. Aranda wanted BB hired and so we got him and he's been huge in landing Siaki ika as well as Ricks for next year.. etc.. Alleva needs to pay Corey. UGA may try to double his salary just to snag him..
A poster on another board posted that UGA offered him $850k, which if accurate is roughly double his current salary. Looks like it's see you.
