I think the rest of the sentence tells the story:

READ: We didn't want to pay the cost of having extra police officers, so let it all work itself out (kind of like the Saints games at Tiger Stadium).

    Here's my question:

You know how we have that one little flag pole in Tiger Stadium with two yellow flags on it that say "National Champions," one with "1958," the other with "2003"? Are we just going to add a third yellow flag for 2007 on the same little flag pole?

Isn't it time that we erect three different flags poles, one for each National Championship flag?

P.S. Before I die, it'd be nice to see 8 or so National Championship flags spread out across the whole north side of the stadium.

Despite near-freezing temperatures and a cloud covered sky, almost 25,000 fans filed into Death Valley for the ceremony. Four of the team’s most visible seniors (Dorsey, Steltz, Fisher, and Flynn) joined Coach Miles onstage to receive the national championship trophies. Hester, LSU's Offensive MVP, wasn't able to make it. He was in Arizona training for the upcoming NFL Draft.

An 83-year-old Paul Dietzel joined Miles onstage in receiving a commemorative Jack Jaubert painting depicting the 2007 national champion Tigers. It would have been a nice touch to have Saban there to pose for a picture along side Miles and Dietzel. It’s a rare occurrence to have a school with three national titles won by three different coaches separated by a half-century and be able to assemble them together. But since Saban is the coach at SEC West rival Alabama, a picture of Miles and Dietzel would do.
