Going to Gulf Shores in a couple of weeks and we will represent the Purple and Gold in full force!!!! :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
I frequent all areas from San Destin to Pensacola to Perdido and LSU fans are always there representing in full force. I would say I have seen many Auburn fans as well but LSU takes the cake. Just got back from Navaree and Perdidio and it was the same LSU fest as always.
Great pic. Beautiful kid. My granddaughter was on the beach in Detsin for the 4th also. Unfortuneatly, her mom is now a Troy State Grad............. I wasn't able to be there but the cutie below was there with the rest of the family: View attachment 11139 Not that I'm unhappy with her graduation, I just wanted her to go to LSU. Instead, she went with my evil exwife's suggestion to go to the "hometown" school. Somehow, Someway,,,,I'll have her in LSU in a few years.
I spent the week of the 4th in Destin and didn't see any more LSU fans than anyone else. The pic was from a parasail trip out of Harbor Dock.
I was in Navarre all last week. Saw a few schools represented, but definitely more of an LSU presence. Although, some tool set up an ATM tent on the beach the day we left. Good thing, I'd have slashed it.
Where did you stay on the beach? My family owns 2 condos in the Bel Mer. Those are the last condos on the left with the light green roof. We are there about 2-3 times a year and my parents go more often because they have a retirement home in the building. LSU is always represented the most there followed by Auburn fans. I actually hang out with a Auburn family who always stay at the same condos the week before or during the 4th and they brought a 12yo Bama kid who lives next door and is friends with their son. The kids dad played for Bama baseball and I swear the kid still thought that Bear Bryant was still alive. I hope I did not crush the kid when I gave him the news. Anyway, just missed you because I went a week before the 4th because we had plans to stay in Perdidio for the 4th.
