Yeah, i'm disappointed, for sure. But i'm not ready to give up on the O era. But where has the lines gone? Where's the talented lines that could have steam rolled a team like Troy's O & D lines? What happend to all of our players?
Disjointed at the top is reflected 100% in our play. When you get embarrassed that's acceptable. To not respond after means this team is in trouble. Tonight was not surprising.
Attrition, Draft, Injury, No grades, Lack of physicality, maybe even lack of heart. Also wonder what Grimes is gonna do to fix the issue as well.
Bigger picture. Those are the symptoms. The truth is a good coach will field a cohesive unit 5 games into a season. Coach Oeaux has no philosophy no core. Nor do his teams. That's the actual problem.
LSU has to be the only team in CFB who has gotten progressively worse with each passing week. It won't be getting better. The next 2 weeks are going to be losses.
We didn't really get worse. We sucked hard every game but byu. Most just didn't want to believe it. It's very hard to look this badly with the talent we have in comparison to our so far shitty competition. The sad part is we haven't played anyone yet. Just wait.
At least in past years of shitty offenses we were able to overcome it with stellar defensive play. Not sure what happened between the BYU game and tonight, but the defense isn't stopping anyone either.
When Aranda leaves the chaos that ensues will be the official rock bottom in recruiting and program turmoil I'd imagine.
