Pay attention, dickwads. When you are talking about foreign words, words that are written in different characters, you are doing a thing called "transliterating", or representing a word in a different alphabet. It's not the actual word, it's a representation of it, as I said before, an approximation of the phonetics of the word.

That's why the word isn't in an English dictionary, dummies. These are not English words with English spellings. You will see all kindsa variations, even by the natives, when spelling them, in an effort to approximate the sounds for English speaking ears.

Again, this is why Peking is not a misspelling of Beijing. They are both the same word. Understand?
