Okay, fair enough. But, what is your opinion and observations about our offense? Do you like the style of offense we run? We are one extreme, and you are offering examples of the other extreme, A&M/Baylor. I would be fine with somewhere down the middle - a descent/respectable passing game that deserves defensive recognition and doesn't allow stacking the box by the opposition play after play. We don't' have to be the offensive machines of these other teams. Just a dependable passing game, and a offensive philosophy of passing on first down before the 3rd quarter. I don't think I am exaggerating too much? I don't think most of us expect the #1 passing offense, just not the #107 ( 7 out of 10 years or whatever our ongoing "record" is).

Agree, but like I said before, Dak Prescott had 10TD's and 7 Ints last year, seemed to have improved this year. I would expect to see the QB's at LSU make steps next year, or like I said, the Head Coach is to be held accountable. No matter what happens at LSU, Les is the one that is the fall guy. An as long as hes been here, has owned up to it. As some say, not throwing players or coaches, under the bus.

Last night I saw a player come into the game, #81, haven't seen him or the # before, so I went to the roster, no #81 on the roster. When he came off the field, got a look at his name on the back of his jersey. He was the backup center, but he was playing the TE position. After the game I ask the OC about it, his wife told him I caught it as soon as the kid hit the field. They wanted to run a little more this game, use the Speed Option, an use the player to pull, and whenever, the defense had to play him like a TE. It worked. They have a bunch of young TE's an to match up better, this was the option that they wanted to use. They won the game 31-13. Finished with right at 400 yds total offense.

    Play strengths.

    We need LEAPS, not steps.

The real issue here is that Les Miles decided Jennings was his guy after the Iowa game. There was no spring ball competition at QB. Let's get that myth out of the way. Les wants a "safe" QB who won't throw interceptions and will make just enough plays to win a hard fought 20-17 victory. That's his perfect scenario. Harris had no chance.

No way anybody is convincing me that Cam Cameron, a QB guru, decided Jennings gave him the best chance at succeeding in the offense and passing game.

Coming from the same guy that wanted to fire the OL Coach, I'll pass.

What I don't get is if the decision was made in the spring that Harris was still just way too raw to start and Jennings was the guy, why not just put a RS on Harris and keep either Rettig or Rivers around as a backup?

I'll go back into practice, Cam would call a play, everything was in a fast pace. He gave a QB a play and the kid had to think about everything. That player was moved to WR. I hate to bash on kids, but Rettig came in out of shape, didn't want to put in the time, he just knew that the job was gonna be given to him once Mett left. Rivers went to Vandy for playing time, 3-7 Vandy, the last game I checked two QB's played and Rivers wasn't one that did, so he's 3rd or 4th team.

Everyone thinks they should be playing and are better than the starter. Cam won't reward a player for not putting in the time and work effort. Last year Mett had one class, the rest of the time he spent putting in his time for the position.

Equal Opportunity positions, everyone gets the same chance, its what you do with it.

Seen this so many times with players, some miss it.

Fine and good, but as it stands now, if Harris' potential is what people think it is, we've squandered a year of eligibility for a half-game start and garbage time against OOC cupcakes.

Lets be clear, this is your opinion. You don't know this at all. Why would Les recruit Harris, run off three other quarterbacks, and not let him compete? Why would he decide on Jennings after he had a bad game? Why did he start Harris against Auburn if Jennings was his guy? It makes no sense at all.
