McCoy has left. My update was before that happened - or at least before I knew about it.

Dandy Don has Chad Jones playing SS and Harry Coleman at FS next year. Is there any word on this?

I Think McCray is the FS and Coleman is the SS. Jones will either continue his role of utility DB or be moved to weakside LB.

I'm sorry but if McCray plays FS I don't see how we can win our division. He tries hard, but doesn't have the ball skills to cover a WR and I don't believe that will ever change.

Yeah that's why he will be the free safety. He played outstanding at FS. struggled at nickel when put one on one with the Harvin's of the world. That wasn't his fault, it was Malveto's.

He is a damn good football player when they let him play a position he can succeed at.

As Ch0snOne was saying, FS doesn't have to cover WRs.

A big problem with our defense the past 2 years has been getting a defensive player that is big & strong enough to take on the running game & could still cover a WR (McCray & Chad Jones just haven't been able to get it done).

Janzen Jackson may start at nickelback as a true freshman next year.
