Is this Kelly's first year or something? I'm pretty sure he is close to the top of the list of most wins amonst active coaches, certainly higher than Kirby
Already forgotten what you posted in this thread yesterday?: Unless you were comparing Hallman to Denbrock, which wouldn't make much sense either. .
Are you really that stupid? For the second time have to explain simple English to weak readers. Louisiana the pillar of education on display. @mctiger inability to: A. Leave it alone. B. His inability to admit he was wrong. I was talking about LSU making a Bama win an extra perk for coaches. In English: LSU coaches are given an extra year of employment by beating Alabama. And this absolutely does extend to Coordinators, like Denbrock, which I was talking about. Don't believe me? Fucking look it up. Curly Hallman was mentioned because he is the most aggregious example of this stupidity in LSU history.
In 12 games we’ve thrown for 300 or less 9/12. The three over 300 are Southern, New Mexico, and Florida. Less than 250 - 7/12, add UAB and TN. Less than 225 - 6/12, add OM Less than 200 - 4/12, add FSU and MSST Less than 100 - 2/12, add ATM and Bama That’s not good. I bet Fickell wouldn’t hire him as OC.
You're making my point by emphasizing only the "thrown" part of the offense. The obsession of every LSU fan wanting an 'Air Coryell' type of offense. A lot of LSU fans would want Kelly and Denbrock fired if LSU went undefeated during the regular season but beat every opponent by only 1 or 2 points in a ground based offense. How does it make someone's penis bigger if LSU wins each game by 20 points instead of 1?
Or lose by 1 or 20, right? We aren’t undefeated and our offense looked stagnant across multiple games.
Holy shit! Did you ever I mean ever consider maybe it looks stagnant sometimes because........................................................ drum roll please Copied this from Danydon this morning. This sums up what Kelly accomplished his first and what he inherited. Remarkable in my opinion. * Took a team that had only 38 scholarship players available for last year’s bowl game and immediately went to work on fortifying the roster and changing the culture. * Filled several holes via the transfer portal and signed the No. 3 transfer class in the country. That class of transfers include seven players who have become everyday starters. * Signed 15 high school players, including Harold Perkins, who he flipped to LSU just before Signing Day, and ended with the No. 7 overall recruiting class (High School and Transfers) in the nation. Of course, the previous staff deserves a lot of credit for this too. * Also hit the ground running with recruiting for future classes. LSU’s 2023 class currently ranks 5th in the nation and the 2024 class is No. 1. * None of his players have been arrested (that we know of) and injuries have been way down. * His Tigers won nine regular season games — nearly twice as many as LSU won in 2020 (5) and 2021 (5). * The nine regular season wins include road victories at Auburn and Florida, making Kelly the first LSU head coach to defeat those two teams on the road in the same season. Kelly followed that Florida win with consecutive top-10 wins against Ole Miss and Alabama. * The Alabama win is mentioned in the bullet above, but it’s worth mentioning again. It was the first win over Bama in Tiger Stadium since 2010 and easily one of the most satisfying games in the rich history of LSU football. * The Alabama victory paved the way for LSU to win the SEC West for just the second time since 2011. That makes Kelly one of only three SEC coaches (along with Les Miles in 2005 and Jim McElwain in 2015) to take their team to the league’s title game in their first season in the conference. * Kelly now has the Tigers playing in the SEC Championship this Saturday, which makes LSU one of just three teams to ever reach the SEC title game a year after finishing last in its division. Your post is why I get accused of posting "the same old shit".
