What team does LSU most want to beat every year? Bama. What school do we use as a measuring stick every year? Bama. It's not speculation. Our LSU AD at the time admitted beating Cheatin' Gene Stalling's Bama team got Curly Hallman the 1994 season. The extra season. We alledgedy Fred Miles, winning an average of 10 games a season, because he couldn't beat Bama/ Saban. He only beat them 5 times in 11 seasons.
Agree. The first couple games he dropped back looking to run. He got much better in going through his progressions but seemed reluctant to run at times when he SHOULD HAVE taken off, it seemed.
We want to beat 11 teams besides Bama. I don't see how what happened in 1994 is relevant to our performance this year.
1994 was a wasted year & posted a known fact as why it even happened that way. We should have been coach shopping after 1993. Really after 1992 to be honest. As for Denbrock, I feel pretty certain he'll get the nod for next season.
With Daniels we have had one game with a total 85 passing yards and another with 86 yards. And how many open receivers did Daniels not see and throw the ball to. Daniels great accomplishment of throwing only 2 interceptions came at a cost of not trusting our WRs to win a lot of so those so called 50-50 balls. You won’t throw an interception if don’t throw the ball. And why do you want to talk about. Walker Howards dads performance 25 years ago? With that kind of logic Justin Jefferson should never been allowed to attend LSU since his brother JJ stunk the place up so much 10 years before.
Daniels isn't out there calling his own plays, Denbrock is. We've been very lucky Daniels is as fast as he is. Just wondering where your confidence is coming from on Howard. Yes he is white. But his pedigree is questionable.
We're not doing this shit again are we? I'm not Tigertap. I know him but am not him. Are you happy 6 years later we haven't won up to Miles level since his firing? I think it sucks. Miles -77% Orgeron - 70% most coming in 1 season. Kelly -unknown season 1 in progress.
I put less stock in that than I do what the assessment of them are coming out of high school. Apparently there were a lot of folks that think very highly of him so its worth giving him a shot right? Can't say "You're dad threw a bunch of ints so you're out"
