Is Pew the same group that studied how the media in essence lies to the public? If so, is the poll on health care provided by them?

If both answers are yes, it would seem odd they would use anything from NBC. In comparing ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, and NBC, it seems pretty obvious that NBC and their components are not only the least credible and biased but also the #1 supporter of this administration.

I find it hard to believe the numbers would be 56-38 in favor if the question was posed exactly "Do you favor or oppose President Obama's heatlh care plan?" as listed. If you asked I'm sure most people are in favor of reform but I don't believe most want what's being offered.

What was the audience for this poll? Did they seek out the DNC or target those on public assistance?

    Are other polls available?

I like the last poll. This audience had to be comprised mostly of Democrats as they have no problem spending other people's money. Live for today and screw the guy who has to pay later.

Interesting, that's the first poll I've seen that shows that.

again, it is not relevant what the polls say. the politician that decides based on the polls is not a leader, he is a follower. he should do whhat he thinks is best, regardless of what the common idiot thinks.

I'm sorry, did you expect me to argue your side of it, too?

People post bogus claims here all the time, at least I back up mine with some evidence. Sure there are other polls, but pay close attention to what questions were asked.

If you ask "Are you against socialized medicine", people will say no. Only nobody has proposed socialized medicine.

If you ask, "Do you think insurance companies should be prohibited from dropping you if you ever have a major claim", people will say yes. And that is something that has been proposed.
