Definitely a great finish to the class if we get all those guys.. just like last year.

CParso what do you think about DeAndre Brown? Ole Miss will get him?

I think DeAndre will go to Ole Miss, but they just lost the coach that was recruiting him so we'll see.

CParso & Dandy Don have almost totally different names in the Fab Five Final Recruiting Derby. DD Lists Patrick Johnston, Moses McCray, Lantree McCray, Lavar Edwards & Tyler Edwards along with TJ Bryant. Me,, I'm just waiting with baited breath... kinda wanted them all you know.. hehe..

CParso... How many times does a highly rated prospect outwait the openings? What I mean is what does he do if his top 2 or 3 schools runs out of scholarships?

Coaches usually tell a prospect if they are running out of room & want them to commit.

It's a tricky game. Some recruits face windows, where if they don't commit soon enough, they're spot will be filled, and even then they could be told to "look around" after they commit. Spots are usually held open for top-rated recruits that the coaching staff feels very good about.

In the big picture, 90% of D1 prospects probably don't get to go to the school that they most want to. Of "highly rated prospects" (I'll assume 4 star or higher)... that number is probably more like 35%... and if that happens, then they just go to the next best school that does have a spot for them.

I haven't watched enough film on Edwards to project him at any other positions.
