    sure would be a nice way to top off our recruiting class if we could land a few of those players.

    I think "close to 50 percent" may be a bit too generous in regard to Matt Patchan.

    Not sure about the other guys, but I'm pretty sure Patchan's going to either Florida or Miami

    I think LSU will land the following 6 players:

    1. Tyler Edwards - TE
    2. Moses McCray - DT
    3. Larentee McCray - LB
    4. TJ Bryant - DB
    5. Antoine McClain - OL

    Along with 5 star DeAngelo Benton

    LSU, with 27 players, should finish anywhere from 5th to 8th place. With the poor evaluation by Rivals on the 08 Louisiana class, this is obviously a highly successful recruiting campaign by Les and the gang.

    And I think it would be CLM's most impressive class considering all the distractions we have had to deal with all year.

    McClain seems to have cut Bama from his list and has set up official visits to Tenn, Auburn, Clemson, and LSU. LSU will be his last official visit on Feb. 2nd.

    More accurately, Bama cut McLain from THEIR list.:thumb: They didn't have room for him.

    not the first time they've done it, either. I kinda feel bad for the guy because hes tried to get on their commit list more than once only to get told "Thanks, but no thanks."

    Oh well, their loss.

    Here's the basic run-down of who we could finish this class with, that I feel we have a realistic shot with.

    Patrick Johnson 5 star
    Tyler Edwards 4 star.
    Derrick Hall 4 star
    Lerentee McCray 4 star
    Lavar Edwards 3 star
    Brandon Thompson 4 star
    Antoine McClain 4 star
    Zebrie Sanders 4 star
    Ben Jones 4 star
    Greg Shaw 4 star
    DeAndre Brown 5 star
    Aundre Dean 4 star
    TJ Bryant 4 star
    Moses McCray 4 star

    I think LSU lands Patrick Johnson & Tyler Edwards. There are several possiblities for the remaining OLine spot, and I expect us to get one of them - either Antoine, Zebrie, Ben, or Greg, and either Hall or Dean at RB/ATH.

    Assuming we don't land Brandon Thompson (good assumption), or Moses McCray (bad assumption) Lavar Edwards will probably be in this class as well.
