Kelvin Sheppard, dude played his heart out last night, and was an animal, i have been critical of this guy in the past, but Chavis has turned this guy into a monster. He has improved more than anyone on the defense in my opinion.

Chad Jones had a dumb facemask penalty but was all over the place making plays, dude is a freak of nature, and Brandon James probably still has a headache.

Jai Eugene had a few good tackles, and a pick, and finally played like he is capable of, great game Jai.

Patrick Peterson, i mean was this guy in on every tackle last night? Patrick is by far the best corner i have ever seen play the game at this point in their career, and could probably start on Sunday now.

Harry Coleman, Perry Riley, Jacob Cutrera and Brandon Taylor also had some good tackles, and played really well.

The D Line played well, they gave up some yards, but they made plays when they had to, except on the first down on the shovel pass to Hernandez that iced the game, and the face mask by Pep that kept the TD drive alive. They still arent getting sacks, but i saw more pressure on pass plays. Those little running backs would bounce off their own offensive linemen and pick up alot of yards, and i think those yards are the result of good running, not inept line play.

I think this Defense has improved, week after week, and they will keep improving.

Here to John Chavis becoming a long time member of the Baton Rouge community. And keep it up Defense.

Our secondary is nasty. I was very-very-very impressed with our linebackers last night too.

La Salle, good thread, props to the D. You named all my favorites on D for this game.

Only problem with this thread...it doesn't require any responses. You hit 'em all on the head.
