our offense didn't play badly in the 1st half. We moved the ball well, had some long drives. They just made adjustments at halftime and our offense didn't. And of course fumbling the very first snap of the 2nd half and losing 6 yards didn't help. Neither did Lee fumbling his first snap in the 2nd losing a couple.

Honestly, i think we lost the game when Lonergan had that bad snap to start off the 2nd. We had the momentum coming out of halftime and losing that six killed it, especially because we aren't going to pick up 16 yards for a first very often thanks to our QBs.

My biggest problem with the gameplan was the sitting back on our heels mentality. I understand why we used that plan given Cam was tearing up the blitz against the teams prior to us but we got away from our strength and lost our confidence.

Considering the games we have won this year & how we won them I am satisified with a 7-1 record. Its amazing to me that we had a chance late in the game to tie the score & with a decent offense and quarterback we could have won again or at least Auburn would have had to score late to win it.. I think luck time is over, we are going to have to earn every victory from here on in. Heres hoping we do well :geaux:

How many times did we pin them inside the 10 yard line with fantastic punts and coverage?

How many times did our offense start at mid-field and not score any points?

This was a team loss as neither the O nor the D executed.
