We're playing for the national championship.

    Miles is our coach.

    Flynn is our quarterback.

I stated my disagreement with you. I didn't call you names. No sense trying to have a conversation with you.

"Asnine" is not a word. Asinine is. It means ass-like. As in jackass.

    Now take your ire elsewhere.

Our running back (Beanie Wells) was the #1 recruit in the nation last year at any position and was the dominant player in the Army All American Bowl that year. He's a load and if he gets past the first line of defense anyone that meets him will be tackling him while landing on their backside. Not being arrogant, it's just the type of runner that he is. He truly is a load and he's not a flash in the pan. He's been the best of the best at every level he's played at.

No team has been able to run to the edge against the Ohio State defense in years. If LSU can do this, they'll be the first in a long time. As mentioned our linebackers are very fast and close well and our corners traditionally run support very well. After all we currently have Nate Clements, Ashton Youbuty, Antoine Winfield, Chris Gamble, Donte Whitner and Shawn Springs as corners in the NFL. I know LSU has a great list of NFL players as well but the list above has many impressive cornerbacks in it. Malcolm Jenkins is cut from the same cloth and is a sure first rounder if he goes out after this season which I'm sure he will.

I really hope that the LSU team takes Ohio State with the grain of salt that many of the fans here do. If so, they'll be in for a rude awakening at the beginning of the game. However, I don't expect this to be the case. I expect OSU and LSU to be well prepared for what looks to be a very physical game and hope that two great programs will give both schools a game for the ages.

exactly no sense in having a conversation at all. I know who the coach, quarterback and etc.
You still didnt read my post about him being injured.
He wasnt the quarterback for the SECCG and we won.

Also I didnt call you any names as well I said your comments were "asinine" I didnt call you any names directly. You see how that works, I was describing your comments, not you as a person. Also, you responding to something, when I was even responding to you. I'll say it again I wouldnt put a hurt Flynn in the game, when that much is on the line. When we have talent with our backup QB. Thats my point!

So as I was saying if Flynn is hurt and cant make the throws. I wouldnt chance putting him in for the NC game.

no one is trying to insult you in any way. Just read before you post!

I can assure you that the team is taking OS seriously and most of the fans are too. We have very optimistic fans just like you do.

I hear ya Tiger Dad. In a perfect world the fanatics would think before they hit post but we all know that isn't going to happen.

In a few years I might have to change my title to Buckeye Dad. My 8th grade son has already told me he's going to OSU. Must have something to do with the season tickets and the drives to Columbus from Virginia over the years.

Once Dmac goes pro.. I'll say he's near the best of the best for beanie.

His speed hasn't impressed me much. He'll live on extra yards.. in all the videos i've watched he isn't a burner.

Vision and extra yards for beanie.

I think our change of pace backs might break the game for us. If used right.

You did in fact insult me. Try reading what I post. My last paragraph concerns the use of Flynn only if he is healthy enough to make the throws. I even said that we may need to use Ryan to throw the long ball if Flynn is not up to it. It would therefore be evident to an intelligent person that we may need him to make all of the throws if Flynn is not healthy enough. You did not just disagree with me, but attacked me personally by using the word YOU and sarcastically suggesting that I should be the OC. You are argueing with someone who agrees with you, but you are too busy insulting people to realize it.

As a I stated before the SECCG, if we run the ball 40 plus times we win.

I think we have faced just as strong or stronger defenses this season. It's funny they didn't give us fits it was Ark and KY that beat us.

I don't really know what tOSU has as far as team speed and skill players but IMO it won't matter. We are the best team in the nation when healthy and we will prove it. :crystal:

    Another Buckeye fan's perspective:

Bringing Perrilloux in on short yardage or obvious running situations will most likely give us trouble. Against Illinois, our defense played hesitant and didn't flow quickly to the ball. The result; we bit hard on play-action, damn near every time.

We huddle close to the line. If we wanted to we could force problems with 12 men on the field when Ohio State tried to substitute if we broke the huddle quickly and went on a quick count even though we typically don't run a no huddle offense. We really don't need Perriloux in the game for our QB to run the ball. Flynn is quite capable of running it himself when healthy because they have similar speed.
