Don't you think after Oct 17 we will know what is missing , then the month of Nov will tell us what we are really missing A Defense and a passing game , and about the hire , Saban hand picked him for us remember and just how did Saban use him ??
Someone earlier stated that our redzone defense was bad. According to the above link, LSU is #105 in RZ defense (#16 in overall defense) allowing opponents to score 10 out of 11 attempts with 9 of the scores being TDs. We also rank #120 in allowing 4th down conversions (4 of 5). FWIW, I'm not looking for negative stats but these are telling. Overall, our defense is not that bad but in the redzone and on 4th downs we have been very bad.
I have been upset with our redzone defense all season. Its been very disappointing and the team should be ashamed.
I didn't say FAN, clearly said TEAM. This ranking isn't about me or you. We don't put our blood, sweat and tears into it like they do. Also, my comment was not in regards to our #7 ranking (or #5 if it suits your argument better) or our overall defensive ranking. Clearly discussing our RED ZONE DEFENSE.
If one person makes one constructive comment about this team you blow your load every time. One would think we could have rational discussions on this board, but no way in hell will you ever let that happen.
