Defense wins championships?

    don't tell the browns that... they are 8-5 and are marching toward the afc playoffs, despite being last in the NFL in total defense....

    I haven't looked at the stats, but I think the Browns have fared just well enough on defense by causing turnovers.

    I knew they were bad, but when I saw they were 32nd... dead last, I was amazed.

    I bet if you could go into the archives, no team that has ever been last in defense has ever made the playoffs.

    Look you can have a mediocre offense, and kick a few field goals. As long as you have a defense that can't be scored on (or at least very little) you'll win games!

    Funny thing is San Diego is a hot bed for Brownie fans and every last one of em will tell ya twice they close their eyes when their D hits the field.

    As a cowboys fan, that kills me as much as it kills you. Who would have thought they would make a playoff run this year.
