It's obvious you have limited football knowledge. This defense is HORRIBLE! They are out of position every play. When they blitz, they don't get past the line of scrimmage. The linebackers are nowhere to be found on passing plays! Are you sure you're watching LSU! And I blame this on a HORRIBLE defensive scheme. I know dam well we have good players. But this scheme puts them in bad positions. And we have no clue how to disguise a blitz either. I haven't seen this bad a defense since the lou tepper days. We are in for a VERY long rest of the season.
Even in junior high school, as a cornerback you are taught to never let a runner get outside you, always turn the play back in to your teammates. I don't buy into this 'young secondary' bs. They are not playing sound fundamental football. If that doesn't change, all the experience in the world will never help.
You guys expecting perfection are always the first ones to bitch. The defense has only allowed 1Opts, not counting the BS 4th down stop, 42yrds and zero points in the second half. Yeah, they suck.

You may want to re-evaluate your rant after the brilliant second half played by the Tigers' D. Obviously, you had forgotten that there are actually four quarters in a game - and they ALL COUNT. Usually it's best to wait till the game is over to evaluate the total performance of the team. Don't worry - you're young - and you're still learning. Life is a long game, too. :geaux::geaux:
