Plain and simple, they just choked

Offense was sluggish all game but they delivered when it mattered most. But our #1 defense should not be getting beat on two 4th downs in overtime.

Also, Jacob Hester is the only reason we stayed in this game.

    :(

Not I put this on Bo's Head he choked as a coach and his INABILITY to adjust was shown for what it is worth!

His head has been in Braska country since KY and it caught up with us tonight!

I place this loss SOLELY on the coaches on both sides of the ball, play calling was HORRIBLE

If NEB think Bo's going to save their defense, they've got another thing coming.

Tigers should have taken it in regulation. I can't believe Doucet caused a TD to be called back. That was a real boneheaded move and not one you'd expect from a Senior and team leader.

In first OT, the Tigers had 'em and let 'em go. So Sad.:bncry::bncry::bncry::bncry:

I bet you aren't far from the truth about Bo. The quality of the defense has deteriorated since the Florida game really. I'm speechless.

The units seem to operate in some kind of yin/yang process. When one unit can't do anything right, the other unit is playing well. Offense starts the game getting six points from continuous great field position and the defense is shutting them down. Then the defense starts getting gouged and the offense gets moving. We haven't been able to put together a complete game in the SEC since MSU.

The defense did not choke. They got tired. And the offense was sluggish in the first half, but scored well in the second half.

Actually, my son who played TCU WR told me that when the outside WR saw
Doucet on the line he should have stepped back, at least he said that
    was what he was taught.:geaux:

Your son is right - That's pretty basic stuff to be messin' up this late in the season, isn't it? :bncry:

I disagree. We plain and simply got out played! If I was Arkys OC, I would have ran the ball outside with Jones and McFadden 90% of the time and then they would have beat us no problem.

The problem I have is, I knew and everyone else knew that they were going to throw the ball to Peyton Hillis on the second OT TD. They should have put someone on him at the line of scrimage and not have to force Ali to come over from his LB position.

Bottom line is we have been playing w/ fire all season and it finally caught up with us.
