I lived one block from Old Time last year while a house I bought was being renovated. I gained a few pounds. :thumb:

LSU didn't score on the fake punt series. We could have run the score up the second half but didn't, I mean we scored three freakin points , give me a break. Would your friend like some cheese to go with that whine ?

I read this somewhere else on the forum, but I'll paraphrase... Who defined good sportsmanship as letting the other team have the ball and score points? We're not out to humiliate our opponents and run up the score, but we're also not going to give you points just for charity.

Plus, you can't discount that pre-game press conference...

paul johnson was popping off some with les right next to him during a press conference sorta mocking sec defenses. Insinuating no one can really stop his triple option.

also i think les wasnt hesistant to run up the score due to all the chop blocks.

les comes across as an aw shucks type guy but hes a silent assassin. dude likes to pile it on when he can. no need to give him a reason either.

how many passes did they throw to the endzone up 38-3 late in the 4th?

    he was making a statement.

This a'int intramurals brother! Leave that faint-heart battle cry at home. We punched Georgia Tech in the mouth. That's football. We didn't chop block, we karate chopped. Next time bring it.

There were many a games where we had our jocks handed to us. Did we whine about the opponent spanking our behind?

It's a 60-minute game. You just don't let a ranked team back into it with 9 and a half minutes left, you keep possession of the ball. I watched Auburn put 28 points on us in the 4th quarter in 1994.

Anyone that expects a winning team to lay off them with 9 minutes left is a certified loser.
