Americans in Baghdad?? There are no Americans in Baghdad! They are like snakes, like snakes crawling around in the desert!

Try actually reading the post you just responded to, dumbass.

They keep sending proposals with NO CONCESSIONS! The Republicans own a slight majority in one half of Congress and think that they can demand their entire agenda! It has never worked that way.

Their latest demand is that we enact a CONSTITUTIONAL FRIGGING AMENDMENT to enshrine the Tea Party agenda. Look, we don't amend the constitution on narrow minority whims. They require ratification by the states. It takes years and years to get a constitutional amendment passed and most of them fail anyway.

It's a transparent ploy to obstruct government and try to make Obama look bad. But it is backfiring.

    Obviously not.

What are you talking about? The democrats have already offered as much as $3 Trillion in cuts and have dropped any new taxes. Now the GOP wants a Constitutional Amendment and they want to revisit all of this again and crash the economy at Christmas.

By traditional republicans, you mean the jesus nuts and "compassionate" conservatives who have grown government spending along with liberals and democrats.

The Tea party movement is comprised of independents and TRUE republicans who taking their party back.

They have been part of the spending problem. McCain is reviled by the Tea Party and other liberty minded conservatives. They'll either get with the program or their asses will be voted out next.

Time to clean house. For every repub we lose we gain two. We can start with the liberal republicans in the north east.

They have increased spending by $3 trillion since Obama was elected during the worst economic crisis of modern times.

And you know the cuts the democrats have agreed to are pure bull*****. It's all spending that was being cut anyway along with phony projections.

And what did Obama and the 2 branches of the democrat controlled government do about it? Not a damn thing. Obama hasn't even produced a SINGLE document outlining his plan. The Republicans are the only ones to have created real budgets and legislation that address the economy and debt, while our community activist president does what community activists do. Shuck and jive and raise hell and stir the *****.

They're worried because Obama, democrats and their partners in the media are doing what they always do. Scare grandma and the poor and stupid who don't know that we can still pay our debt obligations as well as the military, SS, etc.

Isn't that what democrats always do? Create victim groups and position themselves as their savoir? Of course.

Deregulation and Tax cuts are what got us in this mess to begin with. But let's do some more of the same, that will work. Just let the free market take care of it. :dis:

Without a BB amendment the problem will never go away. It's time to pay the piper but the Dems want to keep on dancing for free.

but the proposals they're sending is DOA, and they damn well know it. They're only sending proposals that follow their own ideology, no compromise at all. Most non partisans recognize this, and that's why if there's no deal, they'll catch most of the blame.
