Funny thing is that 1913 was also the year that saw Death Valley's coldest temperature, 15°F. Death Valley National Park - Weather and Climate (U.S. National Park Service) But but... that doesnt make sense if wouldnt it make sense that each year is colder then the previous. 1913 was almost a century ago.
I lived in Tempe for a while I lived their in august and sept. I always thought the summer was hotter here I have lived in South louisiana most of my life 36 now bout 34 years here. 1 n ATL and 1 in Tempe. I also live about a mile from Berwick. Go figure

i have a vague recollection of it breaking 110 in 86. but that might have been from reading the temp off of a bank sign.
