LSU was in his final 2 last year but went to Souther Miss. THey are playing Troy tonight and his leg just snapped. I swore I just saw bone coming through his sock but they cut to commercial. The Troy defender broke up the pass in the endzone and he looked back at his leg and freaked out. Hope everything works out for him.
Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit New Orleans bowl. Kid was looking awesome. Then he no kidding broke his lower leg - like Theisman broken. Horrid. I'm sure there will be a video soon. It just friggin' broke in mid stride. I can't imagine he'll be able to recover from that.
Re: Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit Literally spit my crab omelet out of my mouth when it happened. Damn that injury was nasty.
Re: Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit I don't know what they gave him for the pain, but he was waving to the crowd and not even grimacing when they wheeled him out. Surreal. Snapped his leg in half and sitting calmly on a stretcher. Wish him well. Unbelievable bad luck. He looked like a pro-to-be out there.
Re: Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit Bout had a come apart myself. Excruciating just to imagine such an injury. Can only pray the dude is gonna be alright. That was brutal.
Re: Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit When he held up his leg and his foot just dangled, you know that was not good. As far as being able to recover, see Willis McGahee. How did Ed McCafery's career finish? Are compound fractures easier to come back from than bad knee injuries? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSySFNv9xNE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkZKGhDfFPQ
Re: Deandre Brown - 2008 recruit They mend much better then knees as they do not have all of the ligament damage involved. Just never can tell how much nerve damage has been done but he could eventually play again. just don't show him the replay.
