and the latter had the wrong shoes because he wasnt supposed to run. then ran two 4.3x with someone elses shoes somehow.
why would he go to ole miss and play for a coach that has had no throwing game in the past and a team that has no quality QB at all makes no sense to me
nah, im pretty sure he said "no quality." point being, coaches adjust to their players. he wont run the wildcat formation with a rb that has six names.
During practices before this All-Star game, Alonzo was lined up on DeAndre most of the time and had the same success. Two of the talent evaluators for Rivals were attending those practices and have said they look to bump AL up to a high 4*. Earlier in the year, the only schools after him were Ole Miss, Miss St. and Bama. He's worked on the grade issues and is reporting he has his core and a 16 on his ACT and that has brought more attn to him. Right now, Miss St is out (interesting because his brother attends there) and the only visit he has schedule is Bama on Jan. 11th. He plans on setting officials to Ole Miss, UT and Miami. Bama has been there from the beginning and he's said that UA is standing out to him more than any other school based on the contact. BUT, he plans on taking officials to the other three schools.
You may be right. I knew he was on the board earlier this fall but didn't expect him to be eligible. I found out 10-15 days ago he was looking better in terms of the Clearinghouse and paid a bit more attn. when the MA/AL AS game came into the picture. With Shannon making some waves, UT with its annual late push, and Ole Miss being there since the beginning (Nutt will have some ground to make up) it's going to be yet another interesting player to follow. Who ever gets him looks to be getting one of the late bloomers in the '08 classes. I hope Bama being on him early will pay its dividends. One thing that he mentioned was the point we weren't recruiting many guys playing defensive back in this years class. (A handful or more will end up there...)
