Julio Jones has one catch, a false start that negated a TD, and couldn't catch a MS defensive back who intercepted a ball and took it 95 yds to the house. I know it's just one game...but it's the only thing I personally have to go on...and I'd take Deandre Brown in a HEARTBEAT over JJ. #1 recruit in the country?? Uh...no. Mississippi representin'! 26-7 in the 3rd.
I find it appalling Julio couldnt catch a guy that is faster than him that got a running start while he had to turn around. Trotter looks great. No offense, but Julio has been open a lot and the QB's suck. And Broewn is a beast. Lawrence is a stud.
He wasn't gaining on him either. He's supposed to be the #1, or at worst, #2 recruit in the entire country. Deandre Brown is the #8 RECIEVER in the country...and 63rd rated recruit overall. You're correct that the Bama QB's suck...but Julio hasn't compared to Brown yet.
You are correct, but you cant judge receivers by one game, as they cant really dictate what happens. Truth is, Brown is not underrated, his rating is due to his grades, but would be MUCH higher if not. But Julio is not overrated. I have seen him play probably 10-12 times. He is the real deal. Plus he is injured tonight. As for underrated, Alonzo Lawrence is incredible!
Yes he is...and like I said, this is the first time I've seen JJ. I said based on what I've seen TONIGHT...as that's all I have to go on...I'd have Brown ahead of JJ.:thumb: By the way...what's Alonzo Lawrence's college choices?
