    We're not tree huggers. We didn't name our mascot after some environmental occurrence; rather, based on a symbol of our State heritage.

    There are many ducks on the LSU campus, too. The turtles and alligators find them delicious. We do have a big honking Bengal Tiger, but he hangs out in his $2 million habitat and eats steak by his pool and waterfall.
