    Re: Sam Montgomery-DE?

It's Mack Butler, leaving for Okie St. He was the Director of Football Operations.

Anyone know if Sam's mom was in BR with him? This is very important, IMO. I can't find out anywhere if she was here. She didn't make the trip to Michigan, which all but eliminates them. Shes the key to his recruitment.

She made it down to LSU with Sam.

Only thing I have heard is that she liked LSU but the distance she traveled to visit here worried her.

Well, just as I expected. Distance is always the #1 problem. Unless LSU can do some real selling/reassuring to mom, I think we can cross him off our list. Makes sense with Logan. UNC bound.

There was a little encouragement about distance not being the #1 factor in an update today from his HS coach. Looks like his mom is following him where ever he ends up but I did hear she was a little worried about the distance this weekend.

He eliminated Oregon after the LSU visit and did not go for his mid week visit there.

Looks like a UNC, SC, and LSU battle. But his visit to Tenn this weekend could put them in it as well. Outside shot for Clemson IMO.

    Hard to tell.

My best guess is NC, then LSU.

I'd like to see him with LSU. Especially if he's that fast. Probably he's quick too. I hope he notices how many D-linemen from here go in the high rounds of the NFL draft lately. Other than Lawrence Taylor, who from UNC has made a huge impact in the pro's?
