So true, not many were happy with the NCG loss.

No one was happy with that game. It was a complete collapse. I've never seen an OL play in that manner and made me a little suspicious of decension problems on the team.

Man you should come by your old school. Its in better shape than it was when I was there and probably you where there. The day care sir is for TEACHERS not the students. My god you people know nothing but yet know it all. Lmao The Fence was put there because of the buses being left there during the summer and school year.

And if you want to know if it was a last minute decision on his part. You can see the article where Texas gave up on him a couple weeks before his trip to LSU because he canceled his in home visit from Texas.

The buses have been parked in that field since I was a kid. The field has always been fenced off, the school only recently.

And you think the players are any happier at Texas with their record the past 3 years, give me a freaking break. The only reason Davis is not a Tiger is that we signed so many LB's in the class and he DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE TO COMPETE - END OF THE STORY!!! Who gives a damn about that kid anymore I wish him all the success at Texas but he is now officially Tiger Bait.

Thanks for straightening me out. So, let me get this straight. My property taxes, which are the highest in the state BTW, are being used for teachers to have a day care at the school!!! Heaven forbid they have to arrange day care and pay for their children like I do. Now, if it is funded by an outside source other than our tax dollars, I wouldn't mind.

If you were trying to make me feel better with that statement, you had the opposite effect. I'm royally pissed now. Even more so than if students were using the day care.

And don't tell us we do or do not know anything! Get off your high horse slick!!!

Good luck to Davis at Texas.

As a WHS alum, class of 07' I must admit it gets harder every year to defend my old school. Its not because of what the students/teachers are doing, its the common misconception that many people have about the school and community around it. If you have not been there in a while its best to hold judgement because they are really whipping that place into shape.. and the daycare has been there forever it seems I remember in grade school when dropping off my older sister to school I would see my then 5th grade teacher drop off her son at Woodlawn's daycare. Its called pep-c and I believe its for teachers in the shreveport area. It gives students that are seeking a degree in early childhood education first hand experience with children, and from seeing with my own eyes those students do a damn good job with the kids they watch. Its very beneficial for both parties. I have no issues with paying up taxes for programs like that because they help both teachers and students. I also believe that the servitce is free for the teachers unless something has changed since ive graduated. I cant help but to say this and im not trying to start a riot or nothing but i doubt your reaction would be as bad if say Byrd high, Magnet, or Shreve provided that very same program. Heres a link, not much info it was the most i could find online

Oh yea my sophmore year we was a pretty solid team making the playoffs but losing to east acenson (spell check) in the second round jr year we lost to bb High in the first round, my senior year which i sat out due to a torn labrum we lost every single game. It was hard to go through that year but i must say looking back I would still attend woodlawn and be apart of that football program again.
