    I hope we steal him.

Great edge rusher potential (ala Alem).

Seminole beat Apopka on Friday night and advances to the final four for the first time since 1987 -- and only the second time in school history. They will play Boone (11-2) Friday night at 7:30 in Seminole's home stadium.

Dyron Dye and the Seminole DL had a great game, shutting down 6A state Player of the Year candidate Jeremy Gallon (#11 ATH by Rivals).

To here more about how great Dyron Dye and the Seminole DL performed see the post-game video interview at:

    Re: Dyron Dye

Bottom line we keep hearing about Dye is that he is all Miami, but if he doesn't qualify grades wise, then he is headed to LSU.

We should know a lot more by the end of December or the beginning of January.

So LSU will take a player that doesn't academically qualify for the "U"?

But then again, U Miami is an expensive private school with a $35,000/year tuition.

    Re: Dyron Dye

As long as he qualifies at LSU, why would they even care about him not getting into Miami?

Yeah I know. I just keep forgeting that as an academic institution, Miami is on the level of Tulane. It's an interesting fact to remember, especially since we seem to get into a lot of recruiting battles with them.

According to the 2009 US News best universities rankings:

#51 University of Miami (37.8% acceptance rate)
    #51 Tulane (44.4% acceptance rate)
#66 Southern Methodist University (50.1% acceptance rate)
    #76 Baylor (44.0% acceptance rate)
#113 Texas Christian University (48.9% acceptance rate)
    #130 LSU (72.8% acceptance rate)

After watching the game tonight, this guy will stand a great chance at dominating as a TE. Perfect size, great speed.
