No, I just think he's tired of waiting and knows he is just a fall back plan if we don't land Montgomery. I think it will be too late in the process to reel Logan back in, since Montgomery doesn't visit until Jan 23. Montgomery did imply a commitment could be forthcoming out of that visit.
Michigan already has 5 D-linemen (2 DEs) whereas Nebraska only has 3 D-lineman (1 DE). Nebraska won't be nearly so cold. You're correct, anything can happen in a little less than 30 days.
I just checked the weather, it's 5 frickin degrees with wind chill in Nebraska. Ok, TTech, you have the advantage. :hihi:
You are probably right. I based my prediction on how much he has been talking about UM over the last few months. I forgot to assume UM might not give him a committable offer.
BTW, hear he looked really good today at the Sportsman's Paradise Game today. Fastest D lineman at the game. View attachment 11637
I will be shocked if Logan hangs around long enough to see if Montgomery commits to LSU. Will LSU push Montgomery to commit on the spot the weekend of the 23rd? What if this turns him away from LSU and we lose him? Then there is the Sentimore saga brewing. He could play DE, like he supposedly did today at the all star game and looked really good doing it. The recruitment of the last DE is getting crazy, to say the least.
DandyD said he sat behind Logan's parents at the game yesterday and they said he has offers from Nebraska and LSU and he will make his decision after his visit to LSU.
