That's not a resume. That's just a list of names. This is the internet. I could say I learned to play quarterback from Joe Montana and Johnny Unitas for what its worth

Well Joe if I was trying to fool you I would tell you I learned from Bill Belichek and Vince Lombardi. These are simply coaches I have known, a couple I played for and gathered knowdlege from. Dandy Don was not a coach but was a friend of mine kness a lot about football. Also forgot about our buddy Sam Nader.

And I talked to Jerry Stovall the morning after he got fired. He was coming out of Steinberg's with a new shotgun

Good thing he might have warped your mind if he was sober

Well that does it you need to apply for the OC or DC opening. Jerry didn't have a shotgun when I first met him but he did have pencil and paper to jot down a few plays for me.

Were those the plays that got him fired?

There's few who post as often and loudly as you over the years whose knowledge base impresses less, no offense.

Your takes are usually pretty forgettable. What are some of your best insights? Not trying to be a jerk here but you're out here calling others out so educate us the way you seem to think you can.

Not much time to go into detail. What most of you don't get is play calling. Y'all have this simpleton view of offense. Play doesn't work bad play call. A play works great play call. Why don't we run this play? OC sucks doesn't know how to run that play. One simple fact. We hardly did much or tried often to throw to our backs in the flats. Why? Thanks for asking we didn't have confidence in that play working because WE DID NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE IN PERSONNEL WE HAVE TO EXECUTE THAT PLAY. I read quite a few post this year blaming E for why aren't we throwing to our backs. Well that's why. Notice we didn't take many chances throwing it up for grabs to our WR's who were covered like last year, do you know why?

You know who doesn't have to beat their chest about their knowledge or prowess? The skilled and aware.

You know who needs to denigrate others to enhance their own accomplishments be they either real or imagined? The insecure.

I love to be educated and to learn. I do lots of reading as a result, often of opposing perspectives of my own because challenge is often the path to enrichment. This happens to me as much on opponent's message boards as it does our own but it happens to me everywhere I go.

    Just not from you.

There's a lesson in there for you, but I'm sure you won't find it.
