    How good was his defense 2020 ?? They gave up 52 to the saints right ?

    On the bright side, IF they both can hack it, we should have some stability for a while. High risk, high reward.

    It wasn’t really his defense. He only had the secondary, which was full of neophytes.

    Jones actually has a few years of DC under his belt, albeit at a significantly lower level of competition.

    Yeah, I gave him credit for a little. I like his NFL experience the most in that he is accustomed to high-end players. D-line coach is going to be key in his role and I really like that he is a technique guy with a solid mind for x's and o's. Same for offense. But the speculation will be through the roof until folks get the opportunity to see how it all comes together. Also a strange dynamic with O in that he leaves things to his coordinators while he is scheduling busses and helmet stickers. Will he now get involved with game plans or does he stick to keeping his mike up in the air?
