I think this is the problem with good DC coming here. They see the writing on the wall and know O may be one and done after the upcoming season. They may not want to uproot their families and go thru that. I know its a lot of money and its part of the business but I see us settling.
I get your point and agree things don't feel stable right now. However, I think the COVID year has a lot of anomalies I don't think people will give it as much weight as the other years. I expect the new DC to feel like the offense is good; and if he can do his job well then the defense will be great and he will be a hero. But if new guy replicates last year; he and O are both will be gone.
That is true but the offense is unproven as well. We do have a promising snapshot of what could be as I think we scored enough to win most if not all of our games this year. For O sake I hope it comes together or he will be out.
